Career Snapshot
Mr. Schwarz has a broad background in program management and environmental engineering, with experience in watershed modeling, system optimization, and system design, as well as program management of large scale projects. As an officer for the United States Air Force, he was responsible for the daily operations of a $10-million phased-array radar charged with detecting Sea-Launched Ballistic Missiles and tracking high-priority satellites. As a program engineer in the EELV Program Office, he was responsible for the program management of integrating high-priority government satellites on the next-generation of launch vehicles.
At Omni Environmental, Mr. Schwarz has collected and analyzed data for TMDL and phosphorus impairment studies. He manages the laboratory and calibrates field equipment and acts as the Quality Assurance Officer. He manages a wide variety of sampling projects. He ensures each Quality Assurance Sampling Plan is being carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Mr. Schwarz has a broad background in data management and has built and managed data bases for large scale TMDLs as well as smaller simpler projects.
