- The study, pilot testing, design and construction of membrane bioreactor facilities to achieve stringent effluent limitations
- The evaluation of alternatives to upgrade existing activated sludge facilities to achieve total nitrogen and phosphorus removal
- The evaluation of alternatives to replace an existing wastewater treatment plant on a constrained site while meeting the Delaware River Basin Commission's Special Protection Waters requirements
- Full scale demonstration of polyaluminum chloride addition for phosphorus removal
