During his years at Omni, Mr. Jenkins has developed and managed both simple and extensive databases in support of a variety of projects, including litigation support and NJPDES permitting. Several litigation projects involved input and management of tens of thousands of data records. These data were recorded from dozens of different sources, both electronic and hard copy. In addition to working with the data itself, Mr. Jenkins was responsible for organization and tracking of source documents. He also worked on the analysis of these data, helping to visually present the information and yield relevant conclusions from the plethora of numbers.
Mr. Jenkins has worked on land use permit applications for various type of proposed projects, including stream and streambank restorations and residential construction. His familiarity with the application process and attention to detail have ensured that the often complex and confusing applications are complete and that the project meets the necessary standards.
In addition, Mr. Jenkins’s work has brought him experience in numerous other domains, including collection of samples, review of stormwater management plans, and stream flow monitoring. He has also done quality assurance and quality control for reports and databases.
Mr. Jenkins has a strong background in technical writing as well as chemistry. His experience in this area includes writing and editing articles on highly technical subjects and making them accessible to a general audience. Mr. Jenkins’s previous positions with both Commonwealth Business Media and Waste Management were detail oriented positions in which many of his tasks included quality assurance and quality control.
