Mr. Schwarz has a broad background in program management and environmental engineering, with experience in watershed modeling, system optimization, and system design, as well as program management of large scale projects.
As an officer in the United States Air Force, Mr. Schwarz has had a wide range of responsibilities and experiences. As a Missile Warning Crew Commander, he was responsible for the daily operations of a $10 million phased-array radar charged with detecting Sea-Launched Ballistic Missiles and tracking high-priority satellites. As a program engineer in the EELV Program Office, he was responsible for the program management of integrating high-priority government satellites on the next-generation of launch vehicles.
As a master’s student at Cornell University, he participated in the National Hydrogen Association’s Student Design Contest, where he and his fellow classmates designed a hydrogen power park that derived its fuel from the bio-gas of wastewater treatment plants. His submission was awarded third place in the contest.
